Transmission Line Design Engineer (PLS-CADD)

• Develop overhead transmission line designs using PLS-CADD.
• Perform line routing profile development and plan & profile drawing preparation.
• Conduct sag-tension calculations and optimize conductor clearances.
• Analyze line geometry considering terrain environmental constraints and regulatory requirements.
• Generate construction staking reports material quantities and design documentation.
• Coordinate with tower foundation survey and geotechnical engineering teams.
• Review transmission line layouts for constructability and compliance with applicable standards.
• Support design reviews quality assurance and engineering documentation.
• Assist in resolving technical issues during detailed engineering and construction.
• Participate in client meetings and interdisciplinary project coordination.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• 5-15 years of experience in overhead transmission line engineering.
• Hands-on experience using PLS-CADD for transmission line design.
• Experience with projects ranging from 69 kV to 500 kV (or applicable voltage levels).
• Strong understanding of transmission line engineering principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in international project teams.
