DESCRIPTION:
Join our collaborative team at Thermo Fisher Scientific as an IT Project Manager II and contribute to our mission of making the world healthier cleaner and this role youll guide cross-functional teams in delivering important IT initiatives while supporting innovation and operational excellence. Youll manage complex projects from inception to completion ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder needs. Working in an agile environment youll facilitate effective communication address challenges and promote continuous improvement practices. This position offers the opportunity to work with advanced technologies while collaborating with teams across our organization.

REQUIREMENTS:
Advanced Degree no prior experience required or Bachelors Degree plus 2 years of experience in IT project management or similar role
Preferred Fields of Study: Computer Science Information Technology Business Administration or related field
Professional certifications such as PMP CSM or SAFe preferred
Additional relevant certifications in agile methodologies or project management a plus
Strong expertise in Planview Tools EPPM & PPM PRO

Knowledge in basic programming is required

Demonstrated success in delivering complex IT projects on time and within budget
Proficiency with project management tools (JIRA Confluence MS Project Planview)
Experience with enterprise software implementation and system integration projects
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
Experience working in matrix organizations and managing distributed teams
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent stakeholder management and conflict resolution skills
Strong understanding of IT service management and operations
Participation in on-call rotations as needed
Business-level English proficiency required; additional language skills a plus
Adaptability in a results-oriented environment
Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (PPI Six Sigma)
