Talent Acquisition Onboarding Specialist

Job Summary
Responsibilities:
Manages end-to-end offer letter initiation documentation completion and hiring administration in line with approved terms timelines and compliance requirements.
Coordinates background checks and pre-employment requirements ensuring candidate consent regulatory compliance timely follow-ups and review results for red flags for escalation to hiring managers or People partners.
Acts as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout pre-boarding such as liaising of queries related to offers benefits and start dates with the recruiter and/or hiring manager.
Ensures all pre-employment screenings (e.g. drug tests) are completed and proceed with the hiring process in the ATS and the HRIS.
Coordinates with IT and the hiring manager to ensure equipment and access permissions are ready for the first day.
Work Experience: Necessary Work Experience includes:
Some relevant work experience in HR onboarding talent acquisition support recruitment administration or HR service delivery roles.
Preferred Work Experience includes:
Increasing level of responsibility in a shared services or call centre environment.
Policy administration experience.
Experience in shared services or RPO/BPO industry with shifting schedules.
Qualifications:
Necessary Qualifications include:
Tertiary Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Preferred Qualifications include:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to support candidate and stakeholder interactions.
- Ability to follow defined workflows and procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- High attention to details across offer documentation background check and hiring records.
- Ability to work effectively with recruiters hiring managers and external vendors.
- Comfortable working with ATS and HR systems.
- Serviceoriented mindset with a focus on delivering a positive candidate experience.
