The ideal candidate should have a background in Library and Information Science or combination of education and experience related to information/knowledge-organization. Candidate with experience in reporting and analytics is preferred. This role is part of the Mercator Business Partner Network team and the analyst is expected to learn quickly the business processes and the supporting applications from the inside out.
Responsibilities
Gather analyze and document business requirements to support strategic initiatives.
Design and develop tools dashboards and reports to streamline operations enhance efficiencies and optimize team processes.
Administer pricing calculations to existing Mercator clients and provide support to Mercator RFP team for pricing proposals to prospect clients and other related inquiries and concerns.
Maintain centralized bank of information through SharePoint or other future-developed system.
Regularly update database of fees Service Agreements and relevant correspondence with internal and external stakeholders.
Constantly coordinate with the Officers to ensure that the database and portal of information are accurate and up to date.
Prepare monthly KPI reports to assess and communicate the overall team performance.
Lead the creation of ad hoc reports and presentations to address specific business needs from management.
Prepare and complete service desk dailies report.
Assist in the annual BP performance survey.
Qualifications
Background / Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Technology Business Analytics/Management
- Well-rounded individual possessing a high degree of initiative
- Proactive person willing to accept responsibility with very little hand-holding
- You have ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced complex environment
- You can understand the strategic goals and adjust the tactical objectives accordingly
- Demonstrated proficiency in interpersonal and communication skills including oral and written English
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year experience working in a similar role
- Financial Sector or Corporate Secretarial work experience will be a plus
- Knowledgeable with pricing methodologies reporting dashboards and SharePoint
- Must be able to work in high-pressure environment either independently or as part of a team
- Must be able to organize and prioritize tasks
- Flexibility and ability to deal with change.
