Job Description:

The Subcontracts Manager is responsible for the full lifecycle management of all subcontract packages from procurement and award through to final account close-out. The role involves negotiating terms and conditions and ensuring subcontract agreements align with the main contract requirements and project risk profile. Once awarded the Subcontracts Manager administers contracts by monitoring performance progress cost quality and safety compliance while managing variations claims payments and contractual correspondence.

Reports To: Commercial and Contracts Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare subcontract packages including scope of works specifications drawings and contractual requirements.
• Negotiate subcontract terms pricing scope alignment and contractual conditions.
• Ensure subcontract agreements align with main contract obligations and project risk profile.
• Administer all subcontract agreements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor subcontractor performance against scope programme quality and safety requirements.
• Manage subcontract variations claims instructions and contractual correspondence.
• Certify subcontractor interim payments in coordination with quantity surveyors and project controls.
• Ensure compliance with subcontract terms conditions and reporting requirements.

Requirements:

• Total Experience: 10 years
• Experience in similar position: 5 years
• Strong knowledge of construction subcontracting and contract administration.
• Degree in Civil Engineering or Equivalent
• Professional English
