Stuctural Engineer

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering preferably with a specialization or strong background in Structural Engineering.
• Must be a licensed/registered Civil Engineer with a valid professional license.
• 510 years of relevant experience in structural engineering design analysis and construction supervision depending on the level of the position.
• Experience in the design and assessment of buildings bridges dams hydropower structures or other civil/structural infrastructure is an advantage.
• Proficient in structural analysis and design using relevant engineering software such as ETABS SAP2000 SAFE or equivalent.
• Knowledge of applicable international and local structural design codes and standards.
• Ability to prepare and review structural calculations drawings specifications technical reports and design documentation.
• Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering teams clients contractors and other stakeholders.
• Strong analytical problem-solving technical writing and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments while meeting project deadlines.
• Experience in international engineering consultancy projects is an advantage.
• Willingness to undertake site visits and field assignments as required.
• Familiarity with SMECs relevant technical standards quality systems and project procedures is an advantage.
