We are looking for a Structural Engineer with a strong background in Australian engineering standards to join our team. The ideal candidate for this role should possess comprehensive knowledge of structural design and analysis with a focus on ensuring compliance with AU standards.
This role is critical for delivering high-quality safe and innovative structural solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed structural analysis and design for various projects ensuring compliance with Australian standards and regulations.
Prepare and review structural calculations drawings and specifications for accuracy and completeness.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects construction managers and other engineers to ensure project goals are met.
Gather and analyze data from various sources to inform structural designs.
Develop and maintain project documentation including reports memos and correspondence.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends codes and regulations to ensure best practices are followed.
Requirements
What You Bring
Were looking for someone who:
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering is preferred.
3 years of experience in structural engineering with a focus on Australian standards.
Proficiency in structural analysis and design software is an advantage.
Strong understanding of Australian building codes and standards.
Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
