We are looking for a Structural Engineer with a strong background in Australian engineering standards to join our team. The ideal candidate for this role should possess comprehensive knowledge of structural design and analysis with a focus on ensuring compliance with AU standards.
This role is critical for delivering high-quality safe and innovative structural solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed structural analysis and design for various projects ensuring compliance with Australian standards and regulations.
- Prepare and review structural calculations drawings and specifications for accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects construction managers and other engineers to ensure project goals are met.
- Gather and analyze data from various sources to inform structural designs.
- Develop and maintain project documentation including reports memos and correspondence.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends codes and regulations to ensure best practices are followed.
Requirements
What You Bring
Were looking for someone who:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering is preferred.
- 3 years of experience in structural engineering with a focus on Australian standards.
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of Australian building codes and standards.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
