Job Summary

Responsibilities & Qualifications

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain accounting files and records as assigned.
• Analyzes data and trends by developing spreadsheet reports and verifying information for accuracy.
• Prepares transactions (e.g. journal entries cash disbursements) and account reconciliations.
• Ensures financial data is accurate and complete before processing in Deltek VantagePoint.
• Helps review and maintain accounting procedures and recommends opportunities for change.
• Performs monthly balance sheet reconciliations including Bank accounts.
• Meets all monthly quarterly and annual process and reporting deadlines.
• .
• Proactively communicates potential issues to the Manager.
• Proactively initiates monthly quarterly and annual accounting activities.
• Participates in special projects analysis and ad-hoc tasks as requested by management.

QUALIFICATIONS (INCLUDING EDUCATION and/or JOB EXPERIENCE):

• Bachelors degree in accounting or finance.
• 1-3 years of experience in related field.
• Industry experience preferred (Engineering/Architecture).
• Required strong attention to detail deadline-oriented and excellent communication skills.
• Understanding of GAAP and FAR regulations.
• Deltek Vision or VantagePoint systems experience preferred.
• Client-focused always striving to give clients the best solutions.
• High levels of integrity always doing the right thing in an ethical fair and sustainable way.
• Demonstrated experience of collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team working together toward technical excellence.
