Meet the team:


The Business Project Management Office (PMO) team is comprised of diverse collaborative and results-driven program and project managers. A key part of the Global Business Services function of Dexcom the team delivers value to customers and internal stakeholders through the delivery of programs and projects that support the execution of strategy at a global regional or functional level.


We are seeking a senior program leader who can independently lead large-scale business and enterprise transformation programs. The ideal candidate will excel in highly ambiguous environments influence decision-making at senior leadership levels and drive successful outcomes across complex cross-functional initiatives.


Where you come in:


  • This Sr. Staff Program Manager role is a Senior Manager level where you will independently lead large complex cross-functional business and commercial programs from strategy development through execution and value realization.
  • Lead enterprise-wide transformation programs that span multiple business functions driving organizational change process transformation operating model evolution and business performance improvements.
  • You will partner with senior leaders across functions regions and levels of the organization to define program scope align priorities and drive business outcomes.
  • You will challenge assumptions identify opportunities and influence decision-making to ensure successful program delivery and strategic alignment.
  • You will drive clarity and execution in ambiguous environments proactively managing risks dependencies competing priorities and stakeholder expectations.
  • You will establish governance frameworks operating rhythms and program controls that enable visibility accountability and effective decision-making.
  • You will lead diverse global teams and stakeholders without direct authority fostering collaboration and alignment across business functions geographies and cultures.
  • You will translate strategic objectives into executable plans and measurable outcomes ensuring delivery against business goals and priorities.
  • You will serve as a trusted advisor to Director and VP-level stakeholders providing insights recommendations and executive-ready communications.

What makes you successful:


  • You have a university degree in a relevant field (Business Management IT Engineering or a related field
  • 13 years of progressive experience leading large-scale programs within multinational or global organizations.
  • You possess in-depth knowledge of program and project management methodologies with experience leading complex cross-functional business and enterprise transformation initiatives.
  • Knowledge of related frameworks and business processes is preferred including product development product commercialization operating model transformation business process redesign organizational change management customer experience initiatives software development lifecycle and quality management practices.
  • Experience in Shared Services Global Business Services (GBS) or large matrixed corporate environments are preferred.
  • You exhibit strong interpersonal team building and communication skills showcasing executive presence with demonstrated ability to manage diverse stakeholders.
  • Your skills in concept development presentation and facilitation contribute to successful program and project outcomes.
  • You demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an agile mindset.
  • You have a logical and efficient approach coupled with keen attention to detail ensuring precision in your work.
  • You can successfully balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution; with the ability to prioritize and manage tasks under pressure that reflect sound decision-making skills.
  • You can build consensus and foster change in ambiguous settings.
  • You have a customer service-oriented approach and committed to professional excellence as well as personal and professional growth.
  • You are comfortable in using project management tools and software (e.g. Asana).
  • Advanced degree or certifications in program/project management (PMP/Prince2) are preferred.
  • Experience leading partnership alliance or external-facing initiatives.
  • Experience coaching or mentoring project and program managers.

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Typically requires a bachelors degree and a minimum of 13 years of related experience.
  • At this level a graduate degree may be expected with 6 years of related experience.
