About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor (QS) with strong hands-on experience in kitchen joinery stone and marble works. The successful candidate will be responsible for quantity take-offs cost estimation BOQ preparation pricing and reviewing project requirements for kitchen and stone/marble projects.

This position requires someone who can work independently has excellent attention to detail and is comfortable working with international clients and projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed quantity take-offs BOQs and cost estimates for kitchen joinery stone and marble works.
  • Review architectural kitchen joinery and stone drawings and specifications.
  • Measure and quantify materials finishes fittings hardware and accessories.
  • Prepare accurate material and labor cost estimates.
  • Analyze project drawings scope of work and specifications to identify requirements and discrepancies.
  • Prepare quotations and pricing for projects.
  • Review supplier and subcontractor quotations and compare pricing.
  • Assist in tender preparation and submission.
  • Conduct cost analysis and value engineering where required.
  • Coordinate with estimators drafters project managers and other technical team members.
  • Ensure estimates are accurate complete and submitted within required deadlines.
  • Maintain estimating databases pricing information and project records.
  • Review variations and assist with cost control throughout the project.
  • Communicate with clients suppliers and internal teams when clarification is required.
Requirements
  • Minimum 7 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor/Estimator.
  • Strong experience in kitchen and cabinetry projects.
  • Strong experience in stone/marble works including countertops vanities cladding and other stone applications.
  • Experience with joinery/millwork is highly preferred.
  • Excellent understanding of construction drawings specifications materials and finishes.
  • Strong knowledge of quantity take-offs and cost estimation.
  • Experience preparing BOQs and detailed estimates.
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Experience working with Australian US UK or Middle Eastern projects is an advantage.
  • Experience with estimating software such as CostX Planswift Bluebeam Excel or similar tools is preferred.
  • Must be available to work night shift.
  • Must be available to start immediately.
