Overview: Join Bureau Veritas a global leader in testing inspection and certification services.
We are seeking a qualified Senior Materials Engineer to provide on-site supervision of contractor works and ensure quality control and assurance compliance on our Roads and Highways Project.
- Supervise contractor works at project site at all times
- Issue instructions and provide direction on quality control and assurance matters
- Conduct materials inspections and testing
- Monitor compliance with DPWH standards and project specifications
- Prepare quality assurance reports and documentation
- Perform other tasks required to complete consulting services
- Licensed Civil Engineer (PLE)- Current license from PRC
- DPWH Accredited Materials Engineer II- Current accreditation
- Minimum 10 yearsof professional experience as Materials Engineer II
- Expert knowledge of materials testing QA/QC procedures and DPWH standards
- Strong supervisory and communication skills
- Masters Degree in Civil Engineering or Materials Science
- Experience supervising contractors on large infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with project management systems
