Software Quality Assurance Engineer

You will combine hands-on testing automation technical investigation and continuous improvement to help deliver reliable high-quality software experiences. By partnering closely with cross-functional teams you will advocate quality represent the customer perspective and contribute to innovative solutions that support successful product releases.

In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Champion quality throughout the software delivery lifecycle by identifying risks early and supporting informed release decisions.

• Develop a strong understanding of software platform customer workflows integrations and operational use cases to ensure effective test coverage.

• Translate business and technical requirements into comprehensive test strategies that address functional integration regression and end-to-end scenarios.

• Execute exploratory functional regression API integration and end-to-end testing activities while documenting results and communicating outcomes clearly.

• Investigate document and verify software defects working collaboratively with stakeholders to drive effective resolution.

• Design develop and maintain automated tests that improve efficiency reduce repetitive manual effort and strengthen release confidence.

• Partner with developers product owners and subject matter experts to improve requirements clarity acceptance criteria and testability early in the development process.

• Utilize AI-enabled tools responsibly to support test design automation development test data creation analysis documentation and defect investigation while validating outputs for accuracy and quality.

• Analyze testing trends and quality metrics to identify opportunities for product automation and process improvements.

• Collaborate with product management development user experience architecture operations support and domain experts to deliver customer-focused solutions.

• Actively contribute to Agile Scrum and SAFe ceremonies promoting quality-focused practices and continuous improvement.

For This Role You Will Need:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering Software Engineering or a related field or an equivalent combination of education training and relevant experience.

• Minimum of 4 years experience in software quality assurance including both manual and automated testing of web-based enterprise or complex software applications.

• Knowledge of software testing principles exploratory testing test design techniques defect management and risk-based testing approaches.

• Experience designing and executing tests across user interfaces APIs integrations backend services and data workflows.

• Experience developing or maintaining automated tests using modern frameworks such as Playwright Cypress Selenium or similar tools.

• Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language such as C# JavaScript TypeScript Python or Java.

• Experience using relational databases and SQL for test data management validation and troubleshooting.

• Strong analytical problem-solving communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• Experience balancing manual testing activities with scalable and maintainable automated test coverage.

• Experience using Azure DevOps Git-based workflows test management tools and CI/CD practices.

• Experience leveraging AI-assisted tools to enhance testing automation analysis and quality practices.

• Experience testing cloud-based SaaS distributed or highly integrated software solutions.

• Experience working in Agile Scrum or SAFe environments with geographically distributed teams.

• Experience supporting industrial automation SCADA control systems IoT IIoT telemetry or related operational technology solutions.
