Software Engineering Analyst

Role Overview

We are looking for a Software Engineering Analyst with experience in Java development and ServiceNow to support the design development testing and implementation of software solutions.

The role will work closely with business stakeholders technical teams and subject matter experts to understand requirements develop solutions troubleshoot issues and ensure successful implementation.


Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
  
• Design develop test troubleshoot and document applications and software solutions.
  
• Develop and implement Java-based applications in collaboration with stakeholders and technical teams.
  
• Support ServiceNow development and implementation based on business requirements.
  
• Follow established Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes and development standards.
  
• Work with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business and customer requirements.
  
• Participate in testing deployment handover and post-implementation support.
  
• Identify and resolve technical issues escalating complex concerns when necessary.
  
• Estimate development effort track progress and deliver assigned work within agreed timelines and budget.
  
• Maintain accuracy quality and timely delivery of outputs.
  
• Identify potential risks and provide recommendations to help ensure successful project delivery.
  
• Share knowledge and provide guidance or mentoring to junior team members.
  
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and solutions.
  

Qualifications:

• Some relevant experience in software development or a related IT role.
  
• Experience with Java development.
  
• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL.
  
• Experience with ServiceNow development is preferred.
  
• Bachelors degree in IT Computer Science Engineering or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  
• ITIL certification.
  
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
