Boomering is seeking an experienced Web Developer to take ownership of the development
maintenance performance and continuous improvement of our websites and supporting
digital platforms.

The core focus of this role is web development. You will ensure Boomerings websites are
secure fast reliable responsive and continually improving as the business grows.

Beyond maintaining a strong web environment we are looking for someone interested in
using AI-powered website features chatbots and automation to improve the overall digital
experience.

You will identify practical opportunities to introduce new functionality and
technologies that make our websites more useful efficient and engaging.

You will work closely with Marketing and other internal teams to translate business
requirements into reliable scalable and practical web solutions.

Experience with CRM integrations CRM administration marketing automation and
marketing technology is beneficial but is not required for success in this role.
Primary Objective
Build maintain and continuously improve Boomerings websites and supporting digital
platforms ensuring they remain reliable secure high-performing and scalable while
identifying opportunities to improve the digital experience through AI automation and
emerging web technologies.

Key Areas of Responsibility

1. Website Development & Management
Take ownership of Boomerings web presence including:




Future Boomering websites and web properties
Responsibilities include:
Develop new website functionality
Develop and customise WordPress features
Build and maintain website pages
Create custom forms and landing pages
Improve website UX and navigation
Ensure responsive design across devices
Improve website accessibility
Support conversion optimisation initiatives
Implement SEO best practices
Implement website tracking as required
Maintain development and staging environments
Conduct testing before deployment
Deploy website updates
Troubleshoot and resolve website issues
Maintain clean scalable and well-documented development practices

2. Website Maintenance & Performance
Maintain the ongoing health and performance of Boomerings websites through:
WordPress updates
Plugin and theme updates
PHP compatibility management
Security patches
Performance optimisation
Database optimisation
Cache optimisation
Image optimisation
Broken link monitoring
Spam management
Form testing
Cross-browser testing
Mobile optimisation
Technical troubleshooting
Bug fixing
Uptime monitoring
Website health monitoring

3. Hosting & Infrastructure
Manage the web infrastructure required to keep Boomerings websites operational including:
cPanel
WHM
DNS management
SSL certificates
Domain management
Hosting configuration and optimisation
FTP/SFTP
Website migrations
Backup management and verification
Server troubleshooting
Website-related email configuration
Disaster recovery and website restoration
Experience working across different hosting environments and domain providers is
beneficial.

4. Website Security
Maintain appropriate website security practices including:
Website security updates
Firewall configuration
Malware scanning
Brute-force protection
Security monitoring
User permission management
Vulnerability monitoring and assessments
Backup verification
Incident troubleshooting
Website recovery procedures

5. AI-Powered Web Development & Digital Experience
Identify and implement practical opportunities to improve Boomerings websites and digital
experience through AI and automation.
This may include:
Develop or integrate AI-powered website features
Build or integrate website chatbots and conversational tools
Use AI to improve website interactions and user experiences
Implement appropriate website automations
Integrate AI tools and services through APIs plugins or third-party platforms
Explore opportunities to streamline digital processes using AI
Test and optimise AI-powered website functionality
Identify emerging technologies that could improve the customer or team member
digital experience
Ensure AI-powered functionality integrates reliably with the broader web
environment
The focus is on practical application of AI within the web environment rather than AI or
machine-learning model development.

Support and troubleshoot connections between Boomerings websites and third-party
business systems where required.
These may include:

Where specialist configuration of another platform is required the Web Developer may
