Senior Tax Analyst

Job Summary
The Senior Tax Analyst is responsible for overseeing the preparation review and filing of tax returns for assigned operating companies ensuring full compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations. The role involves coordinating with internal departments and government agencies particularly the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) and Local Government Units (LGUs) to manage tax matters audits and compliance requirements. The position also supports corporate initiatives requiring tax-related due diligence and ensures proper maintenance and safekeeping of all tax documentation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Preparation review and filing of tax returns of identified operating companies
- Preparation of reconciliations schedules and other supporting documents in relation to the tax returns.
- Supervise and coordinate with Finance Department for compliance with outstanding Letter of Authority/Tax
- Verification Notice issued by Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR).
- Liaise or coordinate directly with BIR for all tax matters of the operating companies.
- Coordinate and monitor tax compliance (BIR / LGU) of the operating companies.
- Participate in corporate projects requiring due diligence.
- Official custodian of all tax documents and related contracts.
- Such other tasks that may be assigned by the Tax Manager / Tax Director
Qualifications:
- Agraduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy
- At least two years of experience in Philippine tax complianc
- Knowledge of basic taxation laws rules and regulations
- Proficient in MS Office software especially MS Excel
- Critical thinking and analytical skills
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Keen to details
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work in a team
- Willing to work overtime if necessary
