Salary Range: $2000- $3000 / month

Our client is a growing U.S.-based healthcare services company with a significant operational presence in the Philippines. The Philippine organization currently has approximately 50 employees and has become a core part of the companys business.
The team originally operated as a back-office support function but has since evolved into a broader healthcare services operation supporting companies across the United States.
Today the organizations largest service offering is healthcare recruiting. The Philippine team supports U.S. healthcare organizations by recruiting healthcare addition to recruiting the organization supports a variety of other healthcare-related functions including healthcare insurance operations call center functions scheduling administrative support and other client-specific operational services.
The business effectively operates as a specialized healthcare services and BPO organization providing dedicated teams and operational support to healthcare companies across the United States.
The company is continuing to grow and has an ambitious goal of scaling the Philippine organization from approximately 50 employees today to 500 employees over time.
To support that growth the company is looking for a Senior Operations Manager who can strengthen the existing operation improve service delivery develop the management team and build the operational infrastructure needed to scale successfully.
The Senior Operations Manager will be a key member of the Philippine leadership team and will report directly to the most senior leader in the Philippine organization.
Several managers will report into this position with responsibility across different functions including healthcare recruiting healthcare insurance operations call center functions scheduling and other client-facing operational services.
This is not a traditional corporate operations role. This is a senior high-ownership position in a scrappy growing organization where the person in this role will have significant responsibility and autonomy.
There are not multiple layers of operations leadership or a large team of people performing the same function. This person will be the senior operations leader responsible for making the operation work. They will need to be comfortable figuring things out building processes where they dont exist solving problems independently and taking ownership of outcomes without waiting for someone else to provide the answer.
The U.S.-based leadership team will provide strategic direction and the Philippines Country Leader will provide additional guidance and priorities. The Senior Operations Manager will be responsible for turning that strategy into execution across the organization.
This person will be expected to bring structure accountability and operational discipline to the business while remaining hands-on enough to understand what is actually happening on the ground.
Operational excellence is directly tied to the companys ability to grow.
The business wins and retains clients by providing excellent service. As the organization has grown there has been a need to significantly strengthen the operational execution and consistency of the services being delivered.
For example on the healthcare recruiting side the opportunity is not simply to recruit more people it is to improve the operational strength consistency quality and delivery of the existing recruiting service so that clients receive a better experience and the business can confidently take on more clients.
The Senior Operations Manager will therefore have a direct impact on growth. The expectation is that this person will help turn a good foundation into a high-performing operation capable of delivering exceptional service at scale.
- Oversee several managers responsible for different healthcare service functions.
- Provide direction coaching and accountability to managers and their teams.
- Ensure each department has clear goals KPIs processes and performance expectations.
- Create alignment across teams with different clients workflows and operational requirements.
- Serve as a key escalation point for operational issues.
- Take ownership of the overall health and performance of the operation.
- Take strategic direction from senior leadership and translate it into clear execution plans.
- Turn broad objectives into specific priorities processes owners and deadlines.
- Hold managers accountable for execution and results.
- Follow through on initiatives until they are fully implemented and producing results.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and independently determine how to solve them.
- Establish a culture of ownership urgency accountability and continuous improvement.
- Step into the details when necessary rather than simply delegating problems downward.
- Evaluate how existing services are being delivered and identify opportunities to improve quality consistency speed and efficiency.
- Strengthen operational processes across healthcare recruiting insurance call center and other service lines.
- Establish clear service-level expectations and performance standards.
- Monitor client-facing performance and address issues before they become larger problems.
- Build systems that allow teams to consistently deliver excellent service.
- Use operational improvements to increase client satisfaction retention and the organizations ability to grow.
- Coach and develop managers into stronger operational leaders.
- Establish consistent management standards across departments.
- Identify leadership gaps and help build the next generation of managers and team leaders.
- Create clear accountability throughout the organization so issues are solved at the appropriate level.
- Help build the management structure required to scale from approximately 50 employees to 500 employees.
- Create processes and systems where they do not currently exist.
- Bring structure without creating unnecessary bureaucracy.
- Identify what needs to be standardized and what should remain flexible.
- Solve problems with the resources available rather than waiting for perfect conditions.
- Be willing to test iterate and improve processes quickly.
- Operate effectively in an environment where priorities can shift and not every answer will be clearly defined.
- Work closely with U.S.-based leadership to execute company priorities.
- Translate U.S. strategy and client requirements into clear plans for the Philippine teams.
- Communicate operational performance challenges and opportunities back to senior leadership.
- Ensure the Philippine operation remains aligned with broader company goals.
- Provide leadership with clear visibility into what is working what is not and what needs to change.
