Work Set-up:

• Hybrid set-up
• October: On-site training in Singapore (travel provision included).
• November December: Continuation of training on-site in Manila.
• Standard work arrangement resumes thereafter in line with the assigned projects requirements.

• Design build and maintain full-stack features using React on the frontend and NestJS ( on the backend
• Architect scalable well-tested APIs and services and contribute to our data modeling and system design
• Own features from technical design through deployment and monitoring in production
• Write clean maintainable well-tested TypeScript code and participate in code reviews
• Collaborate closely with product design and other engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks technical debt and scalability challenges
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and help raise the technical bar across the team
• Contribute to engineering best practices tooling and CI/CD processes

• Familiarity and relevant experience with the insurance industry

• Conduct Knowledge Transfer (KT) sessions and training for team members and stakeholders including during the Singapore (October) and Manila (NovemberDecember) training engagements.
• Develop and deliver training materials guides and documentation to support upskilling and smooth knowledge handover.

• 5 years of professional full-stack software engineering experience
• Strong hands-on experience with React (hooks state management component architecture)
• Strong hands-on experience with NestJS or a similar framework (Express Fastify)
• Deep proficiency in TypeScript with a solid grasp of type-safe design across frontend and backend
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs
• Solid understanding of relational and/or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL MongoDB etc.)
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest React Testing Library Cypress or similar)
• Experience with version control (Git) and collaborative development workflows
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS GCP or Azure) and containerization (Docker Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code
• Experience with microservices architecture and message queues (RabbitMQ Kafka etc.)
• Contributions to open-source projects or a strong personal project portfolio
• Prior experience mentoring or leading engineers
• Strong communication skills and comfort working in a collaborative fast-paced environment
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing competing priorities and driving successful project outcomes.
• Prior experience conducting Knowledge Transfer (KT) sessions training or facilitation for teams and/or clients is highly preferred.
• Willingness and availability to travel to Singapore for training in October and to continue training in Manila from November to December.
