About This Job
We are seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to design implement and maintain secure cloud architectures across modern platforms. This role will play a critical part in protecting cloud infrastructure applications and data while enabling scalable and secure business operations across multi-cloud and AI-driven environments.- Design and implement security controls for cloud platforms (e.g. Azure GCP AWS) aligned with industry best practices and compliance standards
- Assess cloud environments for vulnerabilities risks and misconfigurations; recommend and implement remediation strategies
- Develop and enforce cloud security architecture policies standards and guidance
- Collaborate with engineering DevOps and platform teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps)
- Monitor cloud systems for threats using SIEM CSPM and cloud-native security tools
- Lead incident response efforts related to cloud security events and support forensic investigations
- Automate security processes (e.g. infrastructure as code security testing compliance checks)
- Stay up to date with emerging threats cloud technologies and evolving security best practices
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Security or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5 years of experience in cybersecurity with strong focus on cloud security
- Hands-on experience securing at least one major cloud platform (Azure GCP or AWS); multi-cloud experience preferred
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture identity and access management (IAM) networking and encryption
- Experience with security frameworks (ISO 27001 NIST CIS benchmarks)
- Proficiency in scripting (Python PowerShell or similar) and automation tools
- Familiarity with container and Kubernetes security is a plus
- Relevant certifications preferred (e.g. CISSP CCSP Azure Security Engineer Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer)
- Experience securing AI/ML workloads data platforms or modern application architectures
- Knowledge of Zero Trust principles and cloud-native security solutions
- Experience with threat modeling and secure software design
- Secure compliant and resilient cloud environments
- Reduced security risks through proactive controls and automation
- Strong collaboration with engineering teams to embed security into development processes
