About the Job:

We are looking for a Senior Application Support Engineer to support business-critical microservices-based applications running across Linux Kubernetes and AWS/cloud this role you will focus on production support incident response application troubleshooting and system reliability. You will work closely with development and platform engineering teams to resolve technical issues improve operational processes and maintain stable production services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and maintain microservices-based applications across Linux Kubernetes and cloud environments.
• Monitor application and service health and respond to production incidents outages and performance issues.
• Diagnose application and platform issues using logs metrics monitoring tools and system diagnostics.
• Work closely with development and infrastructure teams to resolve application service and platform-related issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and contribute to long-term reliability improvements.
• Maintain runbooks troubleshooting guides and operational documentation.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive support and operational tasks.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Participate in a rotational on-call schedule supporting a 24/7 production environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• 3 years of experience supporting production applications distributed systems or similar environments.
• Strong experience with Linux Kubernetes or container platforms AWS/cloud environments and microservices architectures.
• Strong understanding of HTTP/HTTPS APIs TLS/SSL application connectivity and service-level troubleshooting.
• Experience with monitoring logging metrics observability tools Git-based workflows and scripting using Bash Python or similar languages.
• Experience with API gateways messaging platforms DevOps/SRE environments or relevant AWS/Kubernetes certifications is an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting analytical problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced 24/7 production environment.
