Senior Accountant (CPA) — Remote

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant (CPA) to join our fully remote accounting team and support US-based clients. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional with Big 4 public accounting experience and hands-on experience in financial accounting fund accounting and month-end close.

In this role you will take ownership of the accounting operations for assigned clients ensuring financial records are accurate reconciliations are complete and reporting is delivered on time. You will also serve as a trusted accounting partner to clients helping identify issues improve processes and maintain high standards of financial reporting.

• Own the end-to-end month-end close process for assigned US clients.
  
• Prepare and review journal entries account reconciliations and financial statements.
  
• Maintain accurate and complete financial records in accordance with US GAAP.
  
• Analyze account balances and investigate discrepancies or unusual activity.
  
• Support clients with ongoing accounting and financial reporting needs.
  
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes workflows and automation.
  
• Maintain organized close schedules reconciliations documentation and supporting workpapers.
  
• Identify and escalate complex or technical accounting matters when needed.
  
• Partner with internal teams to ensure client deliverables are accurate and completed on schedule.
  
• Manage multiple client priorities while maintaining a high level of service and attention to detail.
  

• Month-end closes are completed accurately and on schedule.
  
• Client financial records are complete organized and reliable.
  
• Reconciliations and financial reports are delivered with minimal errors.
  
• Accounting issues are identified and resolved proactively.
  
• Processes become more efficient through continuous improvement and automation.
  
• Clients receive responsive professional and high-quality accounting support.
  

• Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
  
• Big 4 public accounting experience is required.
  
• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related discipline.
  
• Hands-on experience in financial accounting or fund accounting.
  
• Experience supporting US-based clients is highly preferred.
  
• Strong experience with month-end close and financial reporting.
  
• Strong understanding of US GAAP.
  
• Experience preparing journal entries reconciliations and financial statements.
  
• Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
