Reporting & Analysis Team Lead

Job Summary
Reporting & Analysis Team Lead will be responsible for overseeing the integrity accuracy and consistency of the companys reporting & analysis and responding to in depth client queries.
The focus of the role is on the core data products of footfall and benchmark data however other data sets such as sales wi-fi demographics and occupancy will also require support.
This role involves developing and implementing standards and processes conducting reporting audits and collaborating with various departments to maintain and improve our reporting & analysis provision.
The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail strong analytical skills and the ability to lead initiatives that improve data management processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Reporting & Analysis Processes.
a. Establish and maintain new client reporting process and handover.
b. Establish and maintain reporting & analysis processes.
c. Footfall Sales Capture/Conversion Benchmarking WiFi Demographics etc.
- Ensuring data is fit for purpose & of high accuracy.
a. Ensuring the calculations are giving the desired outcome
b. Ensuring the best method of data delivery e.g. on-line pdf API PBI etc
c. Ensuring data are delivered in a timely manner Reporting Improvement.
d. Automation of reporting.
- Look for opportunities to gain revenue from additional reporting & analysis.
- Conduct regular data quality checks to identify discrepancies and inconsistencies.
a. Root Cause Analysis of long-term and/or high impact issues.
b. Develop and execute solutions and preventative measures.
- Data Management:
a. Managing release of new data into the business.
b. Influencing decisions around new and lost contributors to benchmark samples.
c. Maintaining Benchmark sample robustness
d. Streamline reporting processes.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
a. Provide training and support to team members on all standards and processes.
b. Serve as a liaison between analyst teams and clients.
c. Provide support & advice to clients regarding reporting & analysis.
d. Managing Reporting EoL stages for all clients.
e. Managing report set up stages in New Sales Handovers.
f. Ad Hoc support for other areas of OnLocation Footfall.
g. Assisting the Insight team with non-standard benchmarks and data generation for press enquiries.
h. Building bespoke reporting using a combination of SQL and Excel.
i. Escalation Point for more complex support questions.
j. Work with the product development team to automate bespoke reports.
- Executing initial configuration of reports and data access.
- Management:
a. Supervise and mentor team members.
b. Monitor team performance monthly one to ones and ensure that the workload is fairly distributed ensuring adequate cover is provided for holidays both internally and on behalf of our customers.
c. Train new team members.
d. Document team processes.
e. Definition of processes & KPIs.
f. Provide reports to Support Manager on the team KPIS (number of reports sent held added removed on a monthly basis).
g. Review and action results of KPIs

- b. Prepare and present regular KPI reports on reporting & analysis improvement initiatives
- Benchmark sample robustness
- RCA of client queries
- Timeliness & accuracy of reports
- Document issues processes and resolutions. Maintain comprehensive records of activities and audits.
Skills Required
- Excellent level of numeracy and ability to understand patterns in the data
- Excellent communication skills to a variety of audiences (with differing levels of numerical ability both internally and externally)
- Organized & Logical approach to problem-solving

- Attention to detail
- Ability to self-manage and meet varying deadlines
- Software Advanced Excel skills pivots lookups SQL select statements and adapting and running SQL code a minimum Microsoft office suite Google G-suite Power BI or similar dashboard tool would be a bonus Knowledge of OnLocation systems and reports (training provided)
