Rebate Specialist

The role of the rebate analyst is to accurately and efficiently process customer rebates primarily deviation rebate contracts for Product Care North America. They will work closely with the Pricing Execution & Optimization team and will leverage Vendavo SAP and other systems to capture and analyze customer rebate information used in processing reporting and investigating discrepancies. Deviation rebate contracts are a critical final step in our pricing process and maintaining the accuracy of this information makes us easier to do business with our customers.

This position will support Product Care North America by processing monthly rebates providing rebate data analysis verifying customer rebates and analyzing deviation pricing. The rebate analyst is primarily accountable for ensuring that all rebate credits are issued accurately and in a timely manner and that issues nationally are addressed promptly efficiently and courteously.

• Support sales and marketing colleagues by maintaining and processing customer rebates and pricing.
• Enter rebate credits including pricing verification.
• Utilize Excel spreadsheets and electronic rebate reports in processing deviation rebate contracts.
• Maintain assigned rebate regions open chargebacks and credits in SAP.
• Assist in reviewing rebate processes to suggest improvements and areas to gain efficiencies and help implement those changes.
• Utilize the Vendavo audit report to conduct in house audits ensuring accuracy of monthly rebates.
• Analyze rebate data to identify discrepancies including the review of pricing data SAP and Vendavo to identify causes and resolutions.
• Respond to questions and issues from sales reps and sales management and provide support with audit processing and questions.
• Provide research and analytical assistance to manager as needed.
• Provide monthly and quarterly analysis of rebate volume and other metrics measuring rebate processing performance such as timing accuracy etc.
• Generate and distribute monthly and weekly Vendavo pricing reports to customers.
• Utilize Vendavo and SAP to run pricing reports to provide customers with their new pricing and as requested by Sales.
• Resolve all negative Rebates monthly.
• Assist with special projects or reports as required.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in business or accounting is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years work experience in a related field.
• Intermediate - Advanced Excel skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
• Strong interactive skills and effective communications skills are essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5 years working experience in a Rebate Credit Pricing or Customer Service function preferred.
• Knowledge of SAP system is a plus.
• Knowledge of Vendavo is a plus.
• Experience with macros & VLOOKUP a plus.
• Must be a team player and willing to assist co-workers ability to multi-task.
