Quantity Surveyor Quantity Take-Off & Costing Support Remote Full-Time
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support quantity take-offs costing and measurement activities for residential construction projects.
This role will work closely with the project and contract administration teams to provide accurate quantity measurements support trade package costing and assist with variation assessments. The position is ideal for someone with strong technical measurement skills experience working with construction drawings and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced project environment.
This is a full-time remote role supporting an Australian team with a standard 40-hour work week. There may also be opportunities for regular overtime for the right candidate.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 6:30 AM QLD Time / 4:30 AM PHT
What Youll Do
Quantity Take-Offs
Prepare detailed quantity take-offs from architectural structural and services drawings
Measure quantities for key trades including concrete reinforcement formwork finishes façade and external works
Update quantity schedules based on revised or issued-for-construction drawings
Costing Support
Assist with preliminary costing of trade packages based on measured quantities
Prepare quantity summaries to support trade pricing comparisons
Support the project team in validating trade pricing against measured quantities
Variation Measurement
Measure quantities associated with proposed project variations
Assist the contract administration team in reviewing and assessing variation pricing
Drawing Review & Reporting
Review construction drawings to identify quantity discrepancies or scope gaps
Track drawing revisions and maintain updated quantity schedules
Maintain organized measurement records and quantity reports for project monitoring

Requirements
Who Were Looking For
Minimum 5 years of Quantity Surveying experience in residential construction
Experience working on multi-storey residential or apartment projects
Strong experience performing quantity take-offs from construction drawings
Proficiency in Excel and take-off software such as Bluebeam CostX PlanSwift or similar
Familiarity with Procore is preferred
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Good communication and coordination skills
