QA Engineer

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for establishing evaluating revising and applying technical quality assurance protocols/methods to inspect and test raw materials and finished products.
• Ensuring that established manufacturing inspection sampling and statistical process control procedures are followed.
• Performing analysis and identifying trends in the inspection of finished products raw materials and recommends corrective actions whenever necessary.
• Qualify and optimize processes through Gage R&R Studies Process Capability Studies and Designs of Experiments.

• Participate in the investigation of failures and formulation and implementation of action plans for all internal and external corrective actions audit findings and address MRB items in a timely manner.

Education & Experience

• A bachelors degree in electronic engineering or its equivalents with at least 5 years of relevant work experience semiconductor or electronics / optoelectronics industry.
  

Skills

• Demonstrated leadership capability to manage cross-functional teams.
• Possess strong interpersonal skills and enjoy the process of problem-solving
• Knowledgeable in SPC FMEA 8D CAPA Root Cause Analysis and statistical analysis.
• Familiar with ISO 9001 ISO 14001 and 45001 management system.
• Proficient in using statistical software such as JMP.
• Proficiency in developing Quality Dashboards using Microsoft Power BI is a strong advantage.
• Certified Internal Auditor is preferred

• Work effectively with other members of Coherent Corp.
