About the Role

  • Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Licensed Electrical Engineer (Registered Electrical Engineer) in the Philippines.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical construction supervision inspection or quality control.
  • Experience in hydropower pumped storage power generation substations transmission facilities or other large infrastructure projects is preferred.
  • Familiarity with electrical testing and commissioning procedures.
  • Knowledge of Philippine Electrical Code (PEC) IEC IEEE and relevant electrical standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and engineering documentation systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct daily inspection of electrical installation works to ensure compliance with approved plans specifications and industry standards.
  • Monitor installation of electrical equipment including power distribution systems switchgear transformers control panels cables grounding systems lighting systems and auxiliary electrical facilities.
  • Verify that materials and equipment delivered to site conform to approved technical specifications and project requirements.
  • Witness installation testing and commissioning activities of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Ensure electrical works are executed according to approved method statements and construction procedures.
  • Review inspection and test plans (ITPs) quality control records and test reports submitted by contractors.
  • Identify non-conforming works and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable Philippine Electrical Code (PEC) IEC standards project specifications and client requirements.
  • Verify completion of punch list items and corrective actions before acceptance
  • Monitor contractor compliance with electrical safety requirements and site safety regulations.
  • Identify unsafe electrical practices and immediately report potential hazards.
  • Support implementation of lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and electrical safety programs.
  • Participate in safety inspections audits and incident investigations
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections observations test results and site activities.
  • Prepare daily weekly and monthly inspection reports.
  • Review contractor progress reports and verify completed quantities of electrical works.
  • Assist in preparation of project completion and handover documentation.
  • Coordinate with civil mechanical instrumentation and commissioning teams to ensure proper interface between disciplines.
  • Attend site meetings and provide updates on electrical construction progress and issues.
  • Support the Resident Engineer in resolving technical and construction-related issues.
