Project Inspector-Electrical Auxiliaries (Local)(Pakil)

• Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering

• Professional Electrical Engineer (PEE) or Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) License

• Electrical Safety Training

• Construction Safety Training (e.g. COSH)

• Testing and Commissioning Training

• Hydropower or Power Plant Electrical Systems Training

• High Voltage Switching and Safety Certification

• QA/QC Certification

• FIDIC Contract Awareness Training
• Experience in hydropower pumped storage power generation or large infrastructure projects. Minimum 8 years

• Experience in electrical inspection and site supervision

• Experience with electrical auxiliary systems in power plants

• Experience in testing and commissioning of electrical systems

• Experience in installation of MV/LV systems transformers switchgear and auxiliary equipment

• Experience on Owners Engineer or Supervision Consultant assignments

• International hydropower project experience
• Conduct daily inspection of electrical auxiliary systems installation works.

• Verify compliance of electrical works with approved drawings specifications standards and contract requirements.

• Inspect installation of transformers switchgear batteries UPS systems cable trays lighting systems grounding systems and auxiliary equipment.

• Witness electrical testing pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.

• Monitor contractor compliance with quality requirements inspection and test plans and approved work methods.

• Identify and report non-conforming work defects and installation deficiencies.

• Participate in site safety inspections and ensure compliance with electrical safety requirements.

• Verify implementation of lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and other electrical safety measures.

• Maintain inspection records testing reports and site documentation.

• Assist in reviewing technical submissions method statements and as-built documentation.

• Coordinate with contractors suppliers commissioning engineers and supervision teams.

• Support troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues during installation and commissioning.

• Monitor progress of electrical auxiliary works and report schedule concerns.

• Assist in system acceptance handover and punch-list closure activities.

• Perform other duties assigned by the Resident Engineer Electrical Lead Engineer or Team Leader.
