Role description:

Responsible for leading vendor master data and procurement support operations ensuring accurate supplier records P2P compliance process efficiency and high-quality service delivery while supporting team performance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Role accountabilities:

Vendor Master Data & P2P Compliance

  • Maintain and update vendor records in compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
  • Communicate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support accurate and timely vendor setup.
  • Create and maintain documentation workflows and standard work instructions to support vendor management and P2P processes.
  • Collaborate with Procurement Finance and Accounts Payable teams to support consistent and compliant procurement execution.
  • Respond to enquiries manage complaints professionally and provide quality service to Arcadians.

Team Leadership & Line Management

  • Lead by example by actively participating in the teams day-to-day operational tasks ensuring alignment with service standards and process requirements.
  • Manage the daily workload task allocation and performance of the procurement support team.
  • Plan and define SMART goals and ensure delivery of KPIs across vendor master data P2P compliance and procurement operations.
  • Support recruitment activities by participating in interviews and providing candidate feedback.
  • Conduct regular check-ins and contribute to formal performance reviews and development planning.
  • Provide coaching and task-level support and escalate performance or conduct issues as appropriate.
  • Promote continuous learning by supporting professional development and upskilling within the team.
  • Foster a collaborative inclusive and engaging team culture that values diversity and wellbeing.
  • Promote and model health safety and work-life balance practices.

Continuous Improvement & Collaboration

  • Evaluate current processes and recommend improvements to drive standardization efficiency and operational excellence.
  • Build strong working relationships with Procurement Accounts Payable Supplier Data and other internal teams.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure consistency share knowledge and promote best practices.
  • Support Sustainable Procurement Direct Procurement and Indirect Procurement teams in maintaining effective controls and processes.
  • Lead by example in conduct professionalism and adherence to Arcadis values.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Demonstrates capability and the ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams around a common purpose.
  • Strong analytical organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • At least 2 years of experience in procurement operations vendor master data management P2P processes compliance controls or a shared services environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; experience with ERP systems is preferred.
  • Ability to resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Highly motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.
  • Procurement qualification or equivalent experience is highly desirable.
