The Opportunity

Were looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our remote team. This is a role for someone who takes real pride in their work. Someone who enjoys getting into the detail solving complex tax matters and being a reliable trusted presence for clients and colleagues alike.

What Youll Be Doing

• Preparing and reviewing complex tax returns for individuals companies partnerships and trusts
• Preparing and reviewing financial statements in line with Australian accounting standards
• Applying your technical know-how to resolve complex compliance and tax matters
• Keeping on top of Australian tax law and accounting standards as they evolve
• Spotting opportunities to improve how we work and deliver for clients
• Collaborating with a talented close-knit team to get great outcomes

What Youll Bring

• 5 years of Australian tax experience in a public practice firm
• Solid understanding of Australian tax laws and accounting principles
• Hands-on experience with Xero and BGL 360
• SMSF experience is a bonus but not a dealbreaker
• Sharp attention to detail and strong time management
• Clear confident communication skills in English
• A self-starter mindset with the ability to work well within a team
