As a Payments Governance Client Ops Analyston the Third-Party Payment Processing Governance team you will play a pivotal role in advancing our mission and driving results. You will be part of a team that thrives on collaboration innovation and excellence. This position is responsible for collating reporting and reconciling large datasets for Merchant Services third-party processors. You will develop and maintain data solutions that support reporting analytics and business intelligence using Merchant Services internal systems. You must be able to monitor and analyze performance data in real time and cumulatively and make recommendations to support successful outcomes.
Job Responsibilities:
- Remain current on card network requirements associated with payments products including sub-merchant due diligence fraud and chargebacks.
- Leverage tools such as Snowflake Python Tableau AlteryxPeopleSoft Power Apps andUiPathto research large volumes of processing data and create Merchant Services third-party processor performance metrics.
- Perform ongoing transactional data monitoring to identify changes in activity trends and anomalies.
- Collaborate with Payments Governance reviewers/facilitators to understand processes and identify and address pain points in data analytics and reporting.
- Ensure accurate and timely information is provided throughout the assessment process.
- Identify research report and/or escalate potential risks proactively identified through data analysis.
- Communicate professionallyverbally and in writingwith relevant stakeholders.
- Review analyze recommend and implement best-in-class process improvements related to third-party oversight reviews systemic solutions and evaluations.
- Maintain system access profiles data-specific standard operating procedures and process flows.
- Design develop and maintain Tableau dashboards and leadership reporting metrics.
- Maintain the integrity of the Payments Governance database/SharePoint site/repository including tracking activity cataloging documentation maintaining request status and safeguarding confidential files.
Required qualifications capabilities and skill:
- Strong investigative mindset and passion for analytical research; eager to learn new databases and adapt to change.
- Ability to develop and maintain efficient workflows in Alteryx to reduce manual intervention.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Advanced skills in PowerPoint with the ability to develop high-quality presentations charts and analytics.
- Demonstrated experience analyzing large volumes of data from raw sources.
- Strong interpersonal written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to and influence executive audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to monitor and analyze performance data in real time and cumulatively and make appropriate recommendations.
- Sound judgment and flexibility to pivot quickly and solve problems effectively.

- Ability to ensure high-quality downstream user experience appropriately secure data and adopt best practices.
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills:
- 2 years of experience in Merchant Services data analysis (e.g. PeopleSoft Snowflake Tableau Alteryx UiPath Power Apps).
- Experience with analytical and statistical packages/databases (e.g. SAS SQL Python or equivalent).
- Strong interest in financial compliance risk quality operations and regulations.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a client-focused mindset.
- Extremely analytical with superiorcommunicationskills (written and verbal).
- General knowledge of Chase-approved workflow management systems such as Pega Navigator JIRA and MyMFT.
