Online Sales Representative

Our client is a fast-growing e-commerce company specializing in interior flooring products with a focus on engineered hardwood and specialty flooring categories. The company has grown in sales and operates with a small entrepreneurial close-knit team that values initiative resourcefulness and strategic thinking.

Job Responsibilities:

• Follow up on and convert warm inbound leads.
• Provide extensive quoting for flooring orders including calculating area (square feet inches yards) for customer spaces.
• Upsell and cross-sell products to online customers throughout the sales process.
• Handle both large high-value orders and smaller transactional orders as they come in.
• Deliver strong responsive customer service including with difficult or frustrated customers.
• Collaborate with a small digitally-connected team to support overall sales goals.

Qualifications:

• Sales experience required; background in construction or flooring is a plus but not necessary.
• Comfortable with basic math including calculating area and converting between units of measurement.
  
• Must have their own laptop noise-cancelling headset and reliable internet connection
• Customer service experience ideally including handling difficult customer interactions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
