About the Job:
We are looking for a Network Engineer Tier II to join our clients infrastructure operations team and support enterprise-scale data center and network this role you will be responsible for maintaining network stability supporting incident recovery implementing network changes and ensuring adherence to operational and configuration standards. You will work closely with operations teams vendors and stakeholders to support routing switching and load-balancing technologies within a 24x7 enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support and maintain enterprise WAN MAN LAN and Data Center network environments.
Perform incident recovery troubleshooting and resolution for complex network issues.
Implement network changes while ensuring compliance with operational and configuration standards.
Manage and support Cisco Nexus and Catalyst switching and routing technologies.
Support load-balancing technologies such as F5 Big-IP and related network solutions.
Monitor network performance using tools such as Splunk Wireshark SevOne NetCool and NetScout.
Collaborate with operations teams vendors and service providers to ensure reliable network services.
Assist in major incident management change implementation and the introduction of new technologies.
Contribute to the development and improvement of network operational processes and strategies.
Maintain documentation and provide technical guidance during high-priority incidents and projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
At least 3 years of solid network engineering experience supporting enterprise-scale network and data center environments.
Hands-on exposure to F5 Big-IP/load balancer technologies or Cisco Nexus (NX-OS) environments in the most recent company is required.
Recent exposure to Data Center environments is required.
Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus (7K 5K 9K) and Catalyst 9K switching/routing technologies.
Knowledge of routing protocols such as BGP OSPF EIGRP RIP and related technologies.
Familiarity with Cisco Nexus Dashboard Fabric Controller (NDFC).
Experience with ITSM and change management tools such as ServiceNow and Jira.
Strong troubleshooting communication and multitasking skills in high-pressure environments.
Relevant certifications such as CCNP F5-CTS LTM or equivalent are highly preferred.
Possesses excellent interpersonal and communication (written & verbal) skills.
Able to work in a hybrid setup and rotating schedule.
Can start immediately if possible.
