Electrical Engineer (Solar PV)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the design implementation and delivery of rooftop solar energy projects. This role will work closely with internal teams contractors utility providers and clients to ensure projects are completed safely efficiently and in compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop electrical designs and technical solutions for solar PV systems.

• Conduct site assessments technical evaluations and feasibility studies.

• Prepare project documentation technical reports and material requirements.

• Support project planning budgeting and cost estimation activities.

• Coordinate with contractors suppliers utility companies and stakeholders throughout project execution.

• Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes regulations and safety requirements.

• Participate in testing commissioning and project handover activities.

• Provide technical support during project implementation and operational phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering.

• At least 2 years of experience in solar PV renewable energy or related electrical engineering projects.

• Experience in site inspections technical assessments and project coordination.

• Strong understanding of electrical systems design principles and engineering documentation.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Experience

• Exposure to commercial or industrial solar projects.

• Knowledge of utility interconnection requirements and net metering processes.

• Experience in project scheduling construction support and commissioning activities.

• Familiarity with renewable energy industry standards and best practices.
