Network Automation Engineering Intern

Position Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing automation scripts using Python Ansible or similar tools for network configuration and operations
• Support the automation of network tasks such as device configuration (routing and switching) provisioning monitoring and dashboard reporting (e.g. Power BI)
• Help integrate network automation into CI/CD pipelines and workflows under guidance
• Participate in team discussions design reviews and knowledge sharing sessions
• Learn and apply network automation best practices including Infrastructure as Code (IaC) version control (Git) and API integrations

Qualifications:

• Currently taking up bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science Computer Engineering or any related courses
• Enrolled in an internship program under an MBPS Campus Partner
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively in a team environment
• Basic understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP VLANs routing and switching
• Familiarity with Python scripting Ansible or similar automation tools
• Exposure to REST APIs Linux environments and Git is preferred
• Foundational knowledge of CCNA-level networking concepts is an advantage
