Marketing Data & Analytics turns Marketing and Customer data into decisions for Enterprise Marketing and the business units it serves. The Marketing Data Analyst works across the marketing and sales funnel: analyzing lead flow nurture performance and conversion in Salesforce and Salesforce Marketing Cloud; building certified datasets and dashboards on the Databricks Marketing data platform; and producing market and campaign research that helps Marketing and Sales decide where to focus. The role uses Axos approved AI-assisted tools including Claude to accelerate research analysis and documentation with careful validation of every output.

This is a hands-on analytical role for someone who writes expert SQL knows Salesforce and lead nurturing from the inside has worked in financial services and can explain a finding to a business leader in two sentences. You will partner with U.S.-based analytics business partners the data engineering team that builds the pipelines you rely on and Marketing Sales and RevOps stakeholders.

Primary responsibilities

• • Analyze marketing and sales lead performance end to end: lead sources nurture journeys and cadence MQL SQL opportunity closed or funded conversion follow-up SLAs and leakage by stage segment and channel; recommend nurture scoring and routing improvements
  • Build and maintain SQL and Databricks queries certified datasets and Tableau or Databricks dashboards that Marketing and Sales leaders use in their regular reviews; keep a metric dictionary so every number reconciles
  • Support campaign planning and readouts with segment channel and audience analysis; measure campaign and journey performance against targets
  • Conduct market and campaign research using Claude and other approved AI tools: structured extraction and summarization of industry reports news and product and rate information into concise briefs with sources cited and outputs validated before use
  • Prepare and enrich contact and account data using approved data providers and internal sources; apply suppression consent and data-handling rules before any list is used
  • Validate data against Salesforce and source systems; investigate anomalies; document sources definitions and logic; perform QA before publishing; escalate data-quality and compliance concerns
  • Present findings clearly to Marketing Sales RevOps and business-unit stakeholders; write briefs people read and act on
  • Collaborate across U.S. and ABC sites; share knowledge follow team standards and help teammates

• Required
  • Expert SQL: complex joins window functions cohort and funnel logic reconciliation across systems; comfortable on Databricks (Delta tables notebooks) or ready to be within 60 days
  • Extensive Salesforce (SFDC) experience as an analyst or power user: Leads Contacts Accounts Opportunities Campaigns lead assignment and conversion reports and dashboards; Salesforce Marketing Cloud or a comparable nurture platform
  • Lead nurturing and lead analytics experience: journey and cadence design scoring inputs MQL and SQL definitions attribution of pipeline and closed business to marketing and sales activity
  • Financial services experience (banking lending wealth or advisory insurance or fintech) with an understanding of how leads are qualified and how opportunities progress
  • Hands-on use of Claude or comparable AI tools for research extraction and summarization with disciplined validation and source citation
  • Analytical rigor and attention to detail: reconcile numbers questions anomalies and tests conclusions before sharing them
  • Excellent and concise written and spoken communication with business stakeholders; a team player who is humble curious and eager to learn and grow
  • Comfort operating in a regulated environment with privacy consent and compliance requirements
• Preferred
  • Python (pandas) for analysis; Tableau; Databricks Genie
  • Experience with contact-enrichment or data-provider tools and with matching or deduplicating records across systems
  • Market research experience in financial services
  • Bachelors degree in Business Finance Economics Marketing Analytics Information Systems or a quantitative field or equivalent experience; 3 years in marketing sales or revenue analytics
