Job Summary
The Market Intelligence Consultant serves as a strategic partner to Talent Acquisition and business stakeholders by providing data-driven insights on labor markets talent trends workforce availability and competitive talent landscapes.
The role is responsible for translating market intelligence into actionable recommendations that guide hiring strategies talent planning and workforce decisions. Through research analytics talent mapping and market sensing the incumbent helps the organization identify opportunities anticipate talent challenges and improve hiring outcomes.
Position Responsibilities:
Conduct labor market talent and industry research to identify trends that may impact recruitment and workforce planning.
Analyze talent availability hiring challenges emerging skills and competitive market conditions to support hiring strategies.
Develop talent maps and market insights for critical hard-to-fill and niche skill requirements.
Monitor competitor hiring activities talent trends and workforce developments to identify opportunities and risks.
Leverage market intelligence tools data and analytics to generate actionable insights and recommendations.
Support the development of talent intelligence reports hiring feasibility assessments workforce insights and market outlooks.
Partner with Talent Acquisition People Partners and business stakeholders to understand talent needs and provide market-informed recommendations.
Prepare and deliver reports presentations dashboards and briefings that translate complex data into meaningful business insights.
Produce recurring and ad hoc market intelligence deliverables including talent market scans competitor intelligence and talent trend analyses.
Serve as a subject matter expert on market intelligence platforms and support continuous improvement of intelligence capabilities tools and processes.
Lead or contribute to market intelligence projects and initiatives that support organizational hiring and workforce planning priorities.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Marketing Psychology Economics Business Statistics Data Analytics or a related discipline.
At least 3-5 years of experience in Market Intelligence Market Research Talent Intelligence Workforce Analytics Business Intelligence or related functions.
Strong analytical research and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to convert data into business recommendations.
Experience using talent intelligence and market research platforms such as LinkedIn Talent Insights Talent Neuron LinkedIn Recruiter or similar tools.
Experience conducting talent mapping and market analysis across specialized skill areas is highly desirable.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel PowerPoint and data visualization/reporting tools.
Excellent stakeholder management communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Talent Acquisition Recruitment Marketing Workforce Planning Talent Intelligence or HR Analytics is an advantage.
Experience developing dashboards reports and data visualizations using Power BI or similar analytics platforms is preferred.
Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (e.g. Power BI Power Apps Power Automate) is an advantage.
Exposure to data storytelling and presenting insights to business stakeholders is a plus.
