Manager, Investments Portfolio Accounting

The Manager for Investments Portfolio Accounting is an opportunity to lead a high-performing operations team responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting operational excellence and exceptional client service while driving strategic business initiatives. The role contributes to the organizations mission by ensuring the integrity of financial and accounting processes improving operational efficiency through automation and process optimization and supporting informed decision-making through KPI analysis and reporting. As a people leader the successful candidate will also play a key role in building talent fostering engagement and developing a strong capable return they will gain exposure to strategic planning transformation initiatives investment accounting operations and leadership opportunities that can further accelerate their professional growth and impact.

Position Responsibilities:

• Leading and overseeing day-to-day operational activities to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality services operational excellence and client satisfaction
• Maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial and accounting records overseeing financial client and management reporting processes and supporting the investigation and resolution of system and operational issues including those related to investment accounting platforms such as SimCorp
• Leads strategic initiatives focused on process optimization automation governance and continuous improvement
• Contributes to strategic planning resource management and organizational development initiatives. Gather data for KPI for analysis of trends and reporting to Business Unit/Management.
• Effective people leader with experience in talent acquisition employee engagement performance management coaching and team development

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 8 years of experience
• MS Office applications

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SimCorp Aladdin Duco or similar investment accounting platforms is an advantage but not required
• Proven experience in process improvement automation project management and operational risk management.
• Working knowledge of Bloomberg Aladdin and SimCorp Dimension.
• Solid understanding of investment accounting processes transaction lifecycles and Accounting Book of Record (ABOR) is an advantage
