Position Overview

The Legal Professional will provide expert legal support and guidance to the organization ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This role involves drafting reviewing and negotiating contracts advising on corporate governance and supporting litigation or dispute resolution processes. The Legal Professional will collaborate with management and external counsel to safeguard the organizations legal interests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft review and negotiate contracts agreements and other legal documents.
  • Provide legal advice on corporate labor intellectual property and compliance matters.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda or opinions on complex issues.
  • Support litigation arbitration and dispute resolution including coordination with external counsel.
  • Ensure organizational compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Advise management on risk mitigation strategies and legal implications of business decisions.
  • Maintain accurate records of legal documents and case files.
  • Monitor changes in laws and regulations relevant to the organizations operations.
Qualifications

Education & Certification

  • Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) or Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
  • Admission to the Philippine Bar (or relevant jurisdiction).

Experience

  • Minimum of 23 years of professional legal practice preferably in corporate or commercial law.
  • Experience in contract management compliance and dispute resolution.
  • Background in labor law intellectual property or regulatory affairs is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of legal principles procedures and documentation.
  • Excellent analytical research and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
