Working Hours: Mon - Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM EST (plus weekend expectations as noted)

Salary: Up to $800/month up to $100 monthly performance bonus

About the Role:

Were looking for a proactive and organized Leasing & Operations Associate to support our leasing efforts and broader property operations. This role is ideal for someone who takes ownership of tasks communicates confidently with prospective and current residents follows through without constant supervision and actively looks for ways to improve processes and productivity.

Role Responsibilities:

Leasing & Lead Management:

• Generate monitor and proactively follow up with prospective renter leads.
• Respond to inbound inquiries within 10 minutes during working hours.
• Manage leads from initial inquiry through completed lease or a clearly documented outcome.
• Respond to leads from AppFolio website inquiries email and housing forums.
• Guide prospective renters through the leasing process with professionalism and an ownership mindset.
• Match individuals seeking roommates to help efficiently fill three-bedroom or larger apartments.
• Identify opportunities to automate and streamline lead management using templates canned responses and clear follow-up systems.

Marketing:

• Keep marketing and leasing information organized and updated across AppFolio Google Drive and other platforms.
• Manage Google Reviews and assist in social media engagement.
• Research and implement new marketing strategies tools and resources.

Leasing & Property Operations:

• Become proficient in all aspects of leasing including lease drafting and sending payment collection setting up recurring charges rentable item setup application and showing coordination.
• Assist with special projects across leasing property management and operations.
• Participate in weekly meetings with the Senior Operations Associate to review priorities progress and performance.

Requirements:

• Residential leasing or property management experience preferred.
• Familiarity with AppFolio or similar property management software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organization attention to detail and follow-through.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced evolving environment.
• Proactive mindset with a willingness to ask for work identify opportunities and continuously improve.
• Versatility and willingness to support responsibilities beyond leasing as company needs evolve.
• Full-time role with an expected workload of approximately 4045 hours per week including weekend availability.

Work Expectations:

This is a full-time role with an expected workload of approximately 4045 hours per week.

The Associate is expected to proactively seek out tasks and projects to maintain a productive schedule. On weekends the Associate must set aside approximately four hours to respond to incoming communications and work on assigned projects or research.
