Lead Logistics Intern

Job Summary
Support day-to-day Lead Logistics activities while gaining practical exposure to supply chain operations customer experience documentation and data analysis. Working under the guidance of a Team Leader or Manager the intern will complete assigned tasks accurately follow established procedures and contribute ideas that improve service delivery and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Support assigned operational and administrative activities in line with team priorities and agreed service levels.
- Prepare check and maintain shipment customer and operational documentation accurately and on time.
- Update trackers reports and system records using information provided by the team and relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate routine follow-ups with internal teams and where assigned customers or service partners.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures internal controls data privacy requirements and Maersk policies.
- Respond to routine enquiries promptly and escalate exceptions risks or unclear instructions to the supervisor.
- Participate in team meetings learning sessions and process-improvement activities.
- Complete other internship-related tasks and learning assignments agreed with the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Logistics Supply Chain Management International Business Industrial Engineering Business Administration Data Analytics or a related field.
- Able to communicate clearly in written and spoken English.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office particularly Excel PowerPoint Word and Outlook.
- Organised attentive to detail and able to manage assigned tasks and deadlines.
- Collaborative curious and willing to learn ask questions and receive feedback.
- Basic knowledge of logistics or supply chain concepts is an advantage but not required.
- A minimum of 500 hours of internship is required.
Technical Knowledge
- Basic understanding of supply chain and logistics processes
- Ability to work with spreadsheets trackers and standard business systems
- Awareness of data accuracy confidentiality compliance and safe working practices
