M&S Data Governance Manager
Were looking for an M&S Data Governance Manager to help roll out JTIs enterprise Data Governance Framework across Marketing & Sales with a focus on Consumer Customer and Product data this role you will support the development of trusted master data improve data quality and enable business-ready data services across the organization.
You will work closely with Business and Digital & IT stakeholders to implement data governance standards support data-related initiatives and promote strong data management practices within JTIs Marketing & Sales landscape.
As an M&S Data Governance Manager in the area of Digital & IT you will:
- Roll out the enterprise Data Governance Framework across assigned Marketing & Sales data domains including Consumer Customer and Product data.
- Implement and maintain data governance standards policies and procedures within the delegated business areas.
- Support data quality metadata lineage and master data governance initiatives to improve trust and usability of business data.
- Explore data governance best practices and evaluate tools methods and solutions that can strengthen governance capabilities.
- Collaborate with Business and Digital & IT stakeholders to embed data governance activities into business processes.
- Support the definition of As-Is and To-Be processes related to data governance implementation.
- Train and support stakeholders on JTI data governance practices standards and ways of working.
- Manage data governance tasks and projects as they arise and upon managers request.
What Were Looking For
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- 3 years of experience implementing data governance frameworks and operating models.
- Solid understanding of data governance data quality metadata and data lineage concepts.
- Familiarity with DMBOK principles; CDMP certification is a plus.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms preferably Azure Data Services.
- Experience in business analysis process design (As-Is/To-Be) and project delivery.
- Knowledge of Power BI Excel and other data analysis and visualization tools.
- Strong stakeholder management presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in Marketing & Sales data domains or Data Catalog implementation is an advantage.
