Integrations & Catalog Management Specialist

The Specialist Integrations & Catalog Management will help define processes and manage governance for our overall Distribution and Vendor integration strategy. This role will work proactively with key stakeholders to identify opportunities and challenges that may have both upstream and downstream impacts on customers and order fulfillment.

The Specialist will also be responsible for investigating issues determining their urgency and developing and implementing problem-solving solutions that create value for our customers while meeting business requirements.

• Own and drive engagement with internal EDI stakeholders to resolve improve and enhance EDI processes for Customer Operations teams and other stakeholders.
  
• Work with suppliers such as Dell Arrow D&H Douglas Stewart Climb Ingram and TD Synnex as well as internal stakeholders such as COA Finance Master Data and other relevant teams.
  
• Set up facilitate and participate in meetings with supplier IT and Business teams and collaborate with stakeholders to align on root issues and define next steps.
  
• Serve as the point of contact for SAP and MuleSoft-related supplier EDI issues which may involve escalations.
  
• Work toward improving overall end-to-end automation and regularly analyze EDI metrics to understand gaps and identify actions required to resolve them.
  
• Monitor order breakdowns to uncover issues quickly and communicate with impacted areas of the business when order failure issues occur.
  
• Investigate other APIs offered by suppliers and understand their feasibility for integration as well as their potential business value for special costs quotes and orders with the help of MuleSoft to test data samples.
  
• Work with Distribution partners to ensure ETS data is accurate.
  
• Increase the number of integrations with Direct Vendors to increase end-to-end automation and reduce manual processes.
  

• Collaborate with Finance to improve automation and integration for invoicing. This could include resolving issues related to:
  • Freight charges
    
  • Supplier SKU cost misalignment
    
  • Overage billing
    
  • Currency mismatches
    
• Investigate SAP issues including:
  • Broken Auto GR processes
    
  • Supplier data migrations
    
  • SAP IDoc issues
    
• Support the onboarding of new suppliers onto end-to-end integrations including Climb $1000 initiatives.
  
• Lead updates to the PNA API including endpoint upgrades and warehouse changes.
  

• Align with Strategic Sourcing Program Managers and Business Development to ensure item/SKU catalogs meet business requirements and that data submissions are compliant with vendor requirements.
  
• Build knowledge of and document specific vendor and category information including price list management key attributes item updates and maintenance processes.
  
• Conduct monthly reviews of supplier pricelist files to map new listings to the SAP system.
  
• Analyze new listings and ensure standard manufacturer pricing is accurately mapped in our system while excluding duplicates and non-standard prices.
  
• Lead monthly check-ins with the Master Data and Strategic Sourcing teams.
  
• Identify items that reflect our go-to-market strategy and enable their proactive creation in SAP by:
  • Collaborating with our Vendor Sales Specialists and category leaders.
    
  • Collaborating with manufacturers and suppliers.
    
  • Collaborating with Master Data to reduce reactive item creation.
    

As an ideal candidate for the Specialist Integrations & Catalog Management role you have:

• A post-secondary diploma or degree in Business Computer Sciences Information Technology or a related field.
  
• A minimum of 5 years of working experience in a business environment. Experience working with data data analysis or data management is preferred.
  
• Experience with data analysis tools is preferred including SQL query programming SSRS etc. or demonstrated ability to learn tools quickly.
  
• Experience with SAP MuleSoft or Salesforce would be preferred.
  
• Strong interpersonal written and verbal communication skills.
  
• The ability to collect analyze and interpret data with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  
• The ability to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
