Inspector Multi Discipline
Industry: Oil & Gas / Petrochemical
Employment Type: Project-Based
Responsibilities
- Conduct third-party inspection and verification activities across Welding Process Piping Mechanical Equipment Painting Coating Wrapping Hydrotesting and NDT works.
- Monitor construction fabrication testing and inspection activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Review and assess NDT procedures and inspection methodologies.
- Witness welding inspections hydrotests mechanical completion activities and NDT examinations.
- Review and verify Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) quality procedures site queries NCRs and concession requests.
- Prepare inspection reports and ensure timely resolution of quality issues.
- Coordinate with contractors clients and project teams to maintain quality and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgical Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in onshore and offshore Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects.
- Proven experience in third-party inspection and verification activities covering:
- Welding
- Process Piping
- Mechanical Equipment
- Painting & Coating
- Wrapping
- Hydrotesting
- Advanced NDT Methods
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC processes inspection documentation and international industry standards.
- Experience in reviewing and approving multidisciplinary ITPs procedures site queries NCRs and concession requests.
- Ability to assess and evaluate NDT procedures and techniques.
Certifications
ValidCSWIP 3.1 AWS CWI or ERS Welding Inspector Certification.
- PCN Level II qualification is highly desirable.
- BGAS Level 2 or NACE Level 1 certification required.
- Must possess a valid passport and be willing to travel for international project assignments.
Preferred Experience
- Refinery Petrochemical EPC LNG Offshore and Pipeline projects.
- Experience working with international clients inspection agencies and certification bodies.
