Job Description:
As an Infrastructure Specialist you will be responsible for the design implementation management and support of our IT infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure the reliability security and scalability of our systems and networks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design deploy and maintain IT infrastructure including servers storage networks and cloud environments.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Implement and enforce security best practices across all infrastructure components.
• Manage backup disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Collaborate with software development operations and security teams to support business needs.
• Coordinate with external vendors telco providers and other IT suppliers for procurement implementation and support of infrastructure solutions.
• Manage vendor relationships contracts and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure quality and timely delivery of services.
• Oversee the management of vendors telecommunications providers and other IT suppliers.
• Document infrastructure processes configurations and procedures.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to improve efficiency and performance.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure systems administration or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Infrastructure Specialist Systems Administrator or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux server environments.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware Hyper-V etc.).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS Azure Google Cloud).
• Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP DNS VPN firewalls).
• Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible Terraform Puppet).
• Experience in vendor management and coordination including contract negotiation and SLA management.
• Experience managing telco and other IT suppliers is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA Network Microsoft AWS Cisco) are a plus.
