Shangri-La The Fort Manila is located within Fort Bonifacio a former military base and city centre. With 60 storeys high the complex is comprised of 576 hotel guestrooms and 97 hotel residences and 98 exclusive Horizon Homes the high rise building is a Manila landmark. The new hotel complements the companys five existing properties in the Philippines.

The mixed-use business residential and retail tower is located along 5thAvenue and 30th Street within the new fast-developing Taguig business district. It is a30-minute drive from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport and is alsoclose to the Manila Golf Club and Manila Polo Club 10 minutes from Makati district the capitals financial cultural and entertainment hub with first-class shopping malls.

DUTIES

• Lead the IT team to support business operations ensuring projects are delivered on time
• Provide leadership and guidance in relation to the development and implementation of system architecture data architecture business processes security scalability and performance
• Oversee the development maintenance operation and support of the hotels hardware and software application systems
• Implement policies and procedures for architecture security IT standards systems and network management
• Continuously look for opportunities to support business initiatives with new technology whenever appropriate
• Make recommendations for system improvements and upgrades

REQUIREMENTS

• Preferably has relevant experience with an International 5-star hotel group
• Preferably has a degree in Information Technology or other related discipline
• Preferably communicates and writes with fluency in English (as well as the local language)
• Follows market trends closely and considers ways to adopt pioneering technology into the business
• Able to lead and motivate the team
• Enjoys interacting with people
• Has strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Displays curiosity and takes time to learn and understand new technology trends
• Has a passion for Information Technology
