Graphic Designer

Were a US-based publishing and consumer products company. Our books span a few related entities and a handful of sales channels and were looking for someone to keep it all organized and current. Youd be working closely with a small team with real ownership of the day-to-day finances.

Create original merchandise designs using provided characters artwork logos and brand assets.

Develop product concepts graphics illustrations patterns layouts and design variations.

Create realistic product mockups to present merchandise concepts before production.

Design artwork for apparel accessories collectibles packaging promotional items and other merchandise.

Prepare production ready artwork and technical specifications for manufacturers and printers.

Develop packaging concepts labels inserts and supporting product graphics.

Adapt existing artwork and intellectual property into different merchandise formats while maintaining brand consistency.

Produce multiple creative directions and design variations based on project briefs.

Revise designs based on feedback and prepare final approved files for production.

Coordinate with vendors manufacturers and printers when needed to ensure designs meet production requirements.

Use Adobe Creative Suite Canva and approved AI tools to support concept development and production.

Maintain organized source files editable artwork mockups and final production files.

Strong graphic design portfolio preferably including merchandise or product design.

Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

Strong understanding of typography composition color branding and print design.

Experience creating product mockups and production ready artwork.

Ability to work with existing characters artwork and brand guidelines.

Strong attention to detail and ability to translate creative briefs into finished designs.

Comfortable using AI design tools as part of the creative workflow.

Able to work independently and manage multiple design projects remotely.

Preferred Experience

Experience designing for apparel comics collectibles trading cards toys entertainment brands licensed merchandise or pop culture products is highly preferred.
