General Accountant

General Accountant (RTR) Global Shared Services

Makati Hybrid Monday to Friday

Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented General Accountant (RTR) to join our Global Shared Services team. This role is responsible for executing end-to-end Record-to-Report processes ensuring accurate financial reporting and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills a solid accounting foundation and experience working in a fast-paced multinational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute month-end quarter-end and year-end closing activities
• Prepare and post journal entries including accruals prepayments and adjustments
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
• Maintain accuracy and integrity of the general ledger
• Prepare financial reports and support statutory reporting requirements
• Ensure compliance with internal controls policies and accounting standards
• Coordinate with regional and global teams for reporting and reconciliation requirements
• Support internal and external audits
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and support automation initiatives

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
• CPA license is an advantage but not required
• At least 24 years of experience in General Accounting or RTR functions
• Experience in a shared services or multinational company is preferred
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) and advanced MS Excel skills
• High attention to detail and strong analytical abilities
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP
• Experience with process transitions or migrations
• Continuous improvement mindset and problem-solving skills
