Global Delivery Services refers to EYs worldwide network of service delivery centers. The GDS team plays an important role in EYs strategy by ensuring effective support to EYs growth agenda.
Our journey started in 2002 with approximately 200 people. Today we stand at 80000 professionals in ten locations around the world. We operate in Argentina China Hungary India Philippines Poland Sri Lanka Mexico Spain and the United Kingdom.
Client service is focused on providing Consulting Assurance Tax Strategy & Transactions and Knowledge support to our clients around the world. The teams enable account teams worldwide to provide seamless high-quality value-added support helping deliver exceptional client service.
Enablement Services provides cost-effective high-skilled and innovative services to support EYs global and local enablement teams. Markets BMC AWS Finance and Accounting Risk Management Procurement People Shared Services IT Service Delivery and IT Global Infrastructure services are among the services offered by Enablement Services.
Our innovation specialists serve the GDS Client Service and Enablement Services teams along with Service Lines Core Business Services and Sectors. The team brings the desired environment technologies and skilled teams together for facilitation rapid prototyping and innovative thinking. The Opportunity
Were looking for Senior Consultant who help our clients improve their security and data protection posture to respond to the dynamic data and security threats. You will provide data privacy and protection domain expertise and utilise your business insight to work closely with our clients to advise design build deploy and test pragmatic security solutions that will give real and tangible benefits and security line with EYs commitment to quality youll confirm that work is of the highest quality as per EYs quality standards and is reviewed by the next-level reviewer. As an influential member of the team youll help to create a positive learning culture and help fellow team members to develop and grow together.

Your Key Responsibilities
Lead the execution of comprehensive Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) for clients identifying potential data privacy risks and providing their remediation plans.
Develop and implement robust consent management frameworks to ensure clients adherence to data subject consent requirements.
Conduct in-depth data privacy gap assessments and maturity assessments to identify areas for improvement and guide clients in developing a strategic roadmap for program enhancement.
Provide strategic guidance on data subject rights including access requests rectification requests and erasure requests.
Craft and implement effective incident response plans to manage data breaches and privacy incidents minimizing risk and upholding regulatory compliance.
Develop and maintain Records of Processing Activities (RoPAs) for clients ensuring transparency and accountability.
Partner with clients to develop and maintain comprehensive privacy policies and procedures that align with industry best practices and applicable data privacy regulations.
Utilize your in-depth knowledge of privacy platforms like OneTrust BigID TrustArc and to guide clients in implementation and optimization of their privacy programs. This includes expertise in various modules offered by these platforms.
Cultivate a deep understanding of the latest data privacy regulations (e.g. GDPR CCPA PIPEDA China PIPL etc) and advise clients on their potential business implications.
Facilitate training sessions for both internal and client teams to raise awareness of data privacy best practices.
Effectively manage stakeholder relationships ensuring clear communication and project alignment.
Foster strong collaboration with colleagues across diverse disciplines (e.g. legal technology) to deliver holistic privacy solutions to clients.
Responsible for decision-making optimizing processes resource management and overseeing team management as needed for task execution.
Accountable for allocating personnel supervising team members assigning tasks ensuring that the team has the necessary tools and support to succeed in their roles and optimizing and evaluating their performance to meet organizational goals.

Skills and attributes for success
Relevant work Experience: 4 to 6 years.
Thorough understanding of various Data privacy regulations and privacy concepts (for e.g. GDPR CCPA etc.).
Experience in performing PIA DPIA and data mapping etc. At least 3 years of experience in Privacy domain.
Experience in developing data protection privacy strategies and roadmaps.
Experience in planning and implementation of data protection and privacy controls.
Experience in creating Data privacy related training content and imparting cross functional training on Data Privacy.
Experience in responding to Data Privacy Request for Proposals (RFPs).
Candidate should remain abreast of the industry trends and updated on Data Privacy standards regulations and related technologies.
Good Understanding of risk assessment frameworks.
Candidate should be able to prioritize tasks and work accurately under pressure in order to meet deadlines.
Excellent documentation and communication skills.
