Financial Risk Analyst

Job Description:

• Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Conduct income statement variance analysis and identify key business performance drivers.
• Investigate financial discrepancies and implement appropriate resolutions.
• Support enhancements to financial reporting tools and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) systems.
• Handle ad hoc financial reporting requests from senior management.
• Coordinate with external auditors during monthly quarterly and annual audits.
• Collaborate with Operations IT and Finance teams to improve reporting processes.
• Prepare and maintain financial data for quarterly earnings releases board presentations and SEC filings.

Qualifications:

• Strong background in Finance and Accounting.
• Must have experience working with a Big Four accounting firm.
• Knowledge of financial statements financial reporting and variance analysis.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills including PivotTables XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP and formulas.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP Oracle Workday or NetSuite is an advantage.
• Strong analytical problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
