Job Summary
- Prepare analyze and provide insightful commentary on monthly quarterly and annual management reports for key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Consolidate and analyze financial and non-financial data from various Asia markets to identify trends variances and business performance drivers.
- Partner with Regional Controllers Finance teams Actuarial teams and other stakeholders to support accurate and timely reporting deliverables.
- Develop maintain and enhance standard and ad hoc reports dashboards and reporting templates using tools such as Anaplan Power BI and SmartView.
- Drive continuous process improvement and automation initiatives to improve reporting accuracy efficiency and overall user experience.
- Support month-end and quarter-end reporting activities while ensuring timely communication of key updates and issues.
- Perform peer reviews maintain documentation and provide guidance and training to junior team members as needed.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in financial reporting management reporting or finance-related functions.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with large and complex datasets.
- Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively with stakeholders across different markets and cultures.
- Willing to work on a Day Shift schedule and report onsite in Diliman Quezon City.
- Professional accounting designation (CPA is an advantage but not required).
- Experience in the life insurance or financial services industry.
- Knowledge of IFRS 17 reporting requirements.
- Experience with reporting and financial systems such as Hyperion Essbase SmartView Anaplan or Power BI.
- Background in process improvement automation or dashboard development.
- Experience mentoring reviewing work or providing guidance to team members.
