Financial Accountant (UKICDEMEA Exposure)

THIS ROLE

As a Financial Accountant you will be responsible for ensuring the timely completion of monthly and other financial reporting requirements including month-end journals balance sheet reconciliations bank reconciliations and supporting the year-end audit as the primary point of contact. The role also involves contributing to various reporting project and ad hoc finance activities. We are seeking a proactive hands-on professional with a positive can-do attitude who can help drive continuous improvement within the finance function and adapt to a dynamic environment with diverse responsibilities.

WHAT YOULL DO

• Prepare and maintain accurate monthly management reports and financial information.
• Lead the year-end audit process and prepare annual financial statements.
• Complete regulatory VAT corporate tax and other statutory returns.
• Support finance integration activities for new acquisitions and business growth initiatives.
• Drive process improvements collaborate with internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications :

ABOUT YOU

• At least 3 years of accounting experience in a similar finance or accounting role.
• Experience working in a global finance environment with exposure to UK companies considered an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of financial controls best practices and external audit processes.
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines prioritize tasks and deliver high-quality results.
• Strong communication and analytical skills with the ability to present findings to senior stakeholders and work effectively both independently and within a team.
